A few years ago, this competition would not have interested me, but since the sudden appearance of african teams qualifying for the world cup for the first time, and the quality of alot of the players, this competition looks very interesting indeed!

Just wondered everyones predictions for the title?

Mine would have to be Ivory Coast, they just seem to have arguably the best squad in the tournament and the most prepared.

But also i dont think you can forget Cameroon. With a striker like eto'o in such fine form, you really cant see anyone stopping them scoring...

Hi,

Do you have tickets to go and watch any games mate ?

I'm sure your home support will be very important, as it was for Tunisia 2 years ago.

It doesn't help that you guys have lost anchorman Hosni (Strasbourg) either due to injury or am I wrong?

aren't most of the games going to be shown on bbc?
Hi mate

BBC 3 will have some games 'as live' maybe a few live games and highlights. Eurosport have every single game live.

As for the format....

I've decided i'm gonna stick a few quid on Morocco @ 14/1. Unbeaten in the WC qualifiers and a very decent side.

Also as a side bet how about Dindane @ 25/1 for top scorer ?

Looking forward to this. Can't say I'm too clued into the teams, didn't know that the likes of Ivory Coast where as strong as they are. But I'll go with Cameroon.

I see. If he hadn't been injured he would be in first team right?

Who is taking his place in starting line up now?

p.s. There is 3 Camara's and 5 Bangoura's in Guinean squad :D

@Tiptoe, nice work ;) :lol:

When does the competition start. I'm with noise, the rising quality of African teams and players spiked my interest.
Is Eurosport gonna show all the games?
