A few years ago, this competition would not have interested me, but since the sudden appearance of african teams qualifying for the world cup for the first time, and the quality of alot of the players, this competition looks very interesting indeed!

Just wondered everyones predictions for the title?

Mine would have to be Ivory Coast, they just seem to have arguably the best squad in the tournament and the most prepared.

But also i dont think you can forget Cameroon. With a striker like eto'o in such fine form, you really cant see anyone stopping them scoring...

Here are all the odds mate. Senegal look a littl eoverpriced at 11/1 with William Hills (considering Essien is out for Ghana) and Morocco @ 14/16's might be well worth a nibble.

I think i'm right in saying that there is a general trend for North African winners when the tournament has been staged there. I'll see if i can dig out some facts.
