Well here we are again keen and eager to start a brand new season.
I know that the Premiership doesn’t start for a while but I figured that we may as well get the Predicts season underway with those teams who got dumped out of the Prem last season and see how they do with their opening day in the Championship. The rules this season aint gonna change but I figured as it’s a new one we may as well have a recap so everyone knows how to play, it’s a nice welcome to those who aint played before.
As it’s the start of the season we will go easy and start with 3 normal league games to predict the score for. As well as the score though I want you to let me know whether you think it will be a HOME win, an AWAY win or a DRAW. What I also want you to bear in mind is that your score doesn’t have to match your H/A/D pick so while you could in theory have your Home team down to win 4-0 you wouldn’t have to have it down as a Home win. You get awarded 2 points for getting the score correct and the one for you H/A/D pick. If that doesn’t make sense just wait for one of our regulars to post or PM me.
I almost forgot the prize that is on offer for our winner at the end of the season! If you are our game leader when we get to the end of this years game then you get the grand total of 40 quid, which should hopefully buy you a football shirt of your choice but to be honest once it leaves me you can spend it on whatever you like.
