July went by a bit quick didn't it? I can't believe the new season is almost upon us once more. Some transfer sagas are still ongoing and I am sick of hearing about that monkey looking fella who plays for Spurs possible move to Madrid. Oh and that donkey looking fella who likes to bite people, will he still be a Liverpool player when the season kicks off? I think those are the main two that have been boring us all but now its back to proper business and this seasons game.
The Champions League will once again be running in its own separate mini Predicts Extra league giving everyone another chance to win and hopefully keeping everyone interested past Christmas.
Let me explain the points system just to remind myself and everyone else how the scoring works. You get 3 points for getting the score from the game right, along with that though you can also get 2 point for predicting whether it will be a HOME win, AWAY win or a DRAW. These dont have to match though so you could go for 1-0 and DRAW if you aint sure. Hope that makes sense, it always makes me think as I am typing it...
Again the prize at the end of the season is a mug, unless someone actually wants another option. It was T Shirts a couple of seasons ago. Long way to go before that gets decided anyway.
If you want to promote the game in some way then please do, would be nice to get more than 20 regular players this season.
