"KGD 2006: Winning Eleven 9
Kickin' it with a build of the US version.

January 25, 2006 - Konami showed off the latest build of World Soccer: Winning Eleven 9 today, during its Gamers Day event in downtown San Francisco. The game shipped overseas a while ago, and what we saw today looked very similar to the import version.

In fact, it's all pretty much identical in terms of visuals, audio and general performance. Sticklers may notice a few improvements here and there, but for the most part US gamers will score the same game.

What is different, however, is how much stuff is in the game. You can play a slew of new leagues, for instance, and there's a bunch of new animations and soccer formations. Furthermore, you can now select a few more clubs to interact with and there are new player training options. Of course, you can select among thousands of professional soccer players and take them through an epic career, called Master League Mode. Your players can grow and develop, ultimately retiring.

One of the cooler features lets you trade information between the PSP version of Winning Eleven 9 and the PS2 version. It's an interesting feature that hardcore fans will most likely appreciate.

We'll be back with a review of the US version of Winning Eleven 9.

Until then, stay tuned! "

Finally a PSP PES worth getting, huh?
