Ronaldinho without a doubt, despite of his world cup performance he showed enough this year to win it again.

Give it to S.Eto'o !!despite he didn't play the world cup the rest of the season he was fantastic!!!!won the champions(plus one goal) league,best scorer in la liga!!!!

Klose. Great season. Scored 25 goals and assisted 14 in less than 30 games in the Bundesliga. World Cups top-scorer. Player of the season in Germany. ALWAYS amazing performances. Currently the most successfull striker in Europe, scoring 14 goals in all of the internationals of the year so far.

Despite him I wouldn't be too surprised if Cannavaro, Pirlo or Ronnie would take it.

for me winner in 2006 matterrazzi for sure.............the best player i have never see in my life.....!

for me Henry, Cannarvaro or C.Ronaldo simply because they were consistent throughout the whole of last season and had good World cups.

There are some dubious nominees. All some players have to do is breath to get nominated every year just because of their name. When in reality they have done jack diddly to warrant a mention for any award let alone something as big as the Ballon.

Gotta be Henry for me - CL final and WC final, I mean what else can you ask for? Couple that with the fact he's been so close in the past...seems like a done deal.

I don`t think henry would get it being in the finals(CL & WC) unless he won it.Funny how things turn up when you actually won it.I think someone from LaLiga or SerieA maybe BundesLiga but not EPL & Ligue :nono:

Cannavaro, Ronaldinho, Pirlo, Buffon or Henry. Kaka had a great season for both club and country, wouldnt mind seeing him win it.

i would pick makalele ..... but i think this year's vote will be really close..... last year Ronnie decisively desevered to win, but this year its much harder if you going to include world cup performances...
my gut feeling says,the brazilian maestro, helped barca win the double la liga and the CL...
