The other night enjoying some cold beers with my friends and under their effect we started discussing about what would each one best world player/fomation combination be like. After a lot of talking about players and formations I end up with this two ones.
There are some players I love like Rooney and Messi that I couldn't put. Some position are really difficult to decide.

So What do you think?.

to many ppl here seems to have problems with Ronaldinho/Totti of the same possition,but for me its clearly that Ronaldinho is my nr 1 choice he's prolly most creative player on the field,he createds chances for he's self and others.
And Ronaldo/VanNistelrooy? c'mon its Henry or Ronaldo,RVN is just not the best striker in the world,he's a litle over rated most of the time,u need someone wil great skillz and tecknike in the striker possistion who can move and alsow creathe chances and score from scratch,RVN is a striker who only needs to get the ball in the 16m area and put in the net,he scaores wel in man.united because he is surounded by world clas player who assist him,but if u see him in the dutch team ,he is not that good,most of the time he doest get the bal from the wingers he is alone on a island.So thats why i always prever a striker with great tecknieks:)

spot on junka, but there is 1 striker sems everyone to forgot about,
the ice man SHAVECHENKO, ronaldo was always my fav striker but if we realistic he is not playing as good as he use to be, so if u play 4-4-2 formation hanry+shava has to be in my first choice formation

I think alot of ppl forget about Zambrotta, he is by far a better full back than roberto carlos right now and is probably the best full back in soccer right now.

carlos, ronaldo, vieira...oh dear. Those guys have shown they are merely shadows of their past selves. Football has moved on and this is probably the formation id go with.

Considering foot preference and how he played at juventus in his earlier days I personally feel that zambrotta would make a better RB than LB. I would also play henry behind sheva since he's has better crossing and passing ability and is more of a all round player than sheva. furthermore, since sheva can use his head and henry cant also reinforces the decision.

btw i really wanted to put rooney in the side but its so difficult ><
 
Come on I know Sheva is extremely good but I would never think to put him in stead of Ronaldo. I admit his a little overweight but the magic is still there. I would also put Van Nistelrooy instead of Sheva. The position of Roberto Carlos is debatable you might be right Ashley Cole would do an exellent work also. Anyway...

Im suprised youve not mentioned Heinze at LB. I struggled between the two to decide who to put at LB in my first XI. Despite not being as technically refined and clinical as Cole, his sheer tenacity, guts and determination is unmatchable. You should be lucky to have such a unique LB!!

NOTES:

When two players per position, I put (s) on the substitute.
When three players per position, I put them in order of preference.

I chose the players in order to make a consistent TEAM, not to choose star names in each position. Thus, I considered players like Beckham who I think is not a top-superstar on his own, but a fantastic TEAM player. He also is the best FK+long pass taker that can also give a great defending power to the team, and a great leader on the pitch.

I chose a 4-2-3-1 formation, in which I put four defenders (side backs than can attack as well), a good DMF like Makelele or Gattuso, a strong playmaker like Gerrard or Cesc just in front of him, and an OMF who can team with the playmaker, as well as getting nice passes through the wings and towards the striker, and who have a nice shooting skill too.

For the side midfielders I chose men who are fast and able to dribble well (as Ronaldinho, Henry or Kaká) or strong, with good stamina and great passing abilities, like Becks. I chose as a third option a youngster who I think will do great at the coming WC for each side, like Messi and Robinho. They've also done great in their first year in top teams, and as youngsters they belong there.

And to finish I chose who I think are the three greatest strikers in the world now. I think Ronaldo is still #1 despite his recent injuries (100 goals in the last three years for Real Madrid - that's more than 33 goals each season on average). Henry is a close second, but I'd prefer him to play a little to the left, where Ronaldinho is. Shevchenko will surely be my third option. Why Eto'o is not there? He surely would be the next in the run, but I think these three are more experienced and have shown their skills consistently throughout more than ten years.
