Can I grab a certain piece of Music?

Not sure exactly how to explain this, so hope you understand this.

I'm wondering if it's possible to grab a certain piece of music from a CD and copy it, so that I can put onto a CD Compilation that I want to make.

Is there a program that can do this, or does even Windows Media Player do it? Not sure if it does.

Best bet is to use a CD Ripper, then edit the song you want to take a piece out of then you should be ok.

If you have Nero on your PC you probably already have nero wave editor. Copy n paste the stuff you want as new wavs, save them and then add them as tracks in a nero cd audio compilation.
