No contest, Corrie is genuinelly hilarious. Even when they do serious storylines they just have a Norris or a Blanche sticking their face in and saying something obsurd. It's almost like a parody of a soap- brilliance.
 
Dear oh dear Diego... The only acceptable soap is Lost, and that's only because it didn't originally start out as one... It used to be action/adventure...
 
Yeah, and then in the next scene you've got Jack stroking a pidgeon and Vera tearing his racing paper to pieces going "you're mad you are".

My heart is racing already.
 
Harry Hill is bloody awful! I wanna slap him everytime he appears on my TV screen. Just my opinion.

As for Lost - YAWN! What a pile of overrated, far fetched American drivel.
 
Becaus i am an old women (inside a man's body) with no sex life (sex is overrated...i wish i was impotent...would simplify life enormously): Coronation Street (i haven't watched it for more than 25 years and i never ever watched Eastenders, so i'm not exactly a specialist).

couldn't agree more hutch!

corrie is pure tv gold - comedy at it's finest...

every single storyline is written with tongue firmly in cheek.

blanche and norris are a classic example. before that there was the duckworths, with jack's plaster-job on his glasses.

tyrone and maria's brother (name escapes me at the minute) are another comedy act...

Corrie all the way, like it's already been said, it's funny and well written. Eastenders is a waste of license-payers money!

I agree with this, what the hell is this guy supposed to do that should make me laugh? Mole hole, wtf is that!!!!

Each to their own but this guy should just have used his doctorate (what ever it is for) and used it as it would have gave his life more meaning!!!
