Analogue although on the PS2 D-Pad would be perfect. The D-Pad on the 360 feels too third-party cheapish type.
 
Analogue. I used D-pad earlier untill i broke my controller and only the analogue kept working. Now I can't go back to the D-pad.
 
@niller- how strong are you?

m8 is winning with d-pad(he's used to ps2 only) vs me losing on analog (which I'm used to from pes5).
 
i think the d-pad is more reponsive than the analoge is (which p****s me off), but i use the analoge, the d-pad is the "author of blisters" :)

Analouge. Took a little while to get used but i find it easier to move around now with the A-Stick.

I don't see how that works since Pro Evo only measures 8 ways of direction.

I use analogue on 360 since it's in a more comfortable position, but I have to use d-pad on PS2 because the analogue stick is in a shit position, but the PS2's d-pad is completely shite at diagonals.
