eFootball PES 2020 Discussion Thread (PC)

Hi Im having trouble getting into any of the online modes. The game just crashes (Event 1000 Application Error). Im playing on Windows 10 using bootcamp.
Could anyone help me figure out why the game crashes and to fix the problem when i try to getting into online game mode. Thanks

How did you do it?

I've just asked about this in the 2021 thread because someone there had mentioned to use the steam console with the command download_depot 996480 996481 6564027094273353685 , but this just gives me an error "Depot download failed : missing app info for 996480".

Unrar the file and put it in the folder: E:\Games (your games folder)\Steam Games\steamapps\common\eFootball PES 2020 DEMO
inside the folder you'll find even the Sider that @juce created for Demo so you can play it more than 5 minutes (mine is at 20 minutes).

I exactly follow steps described above, but .exe wont launch through Steam. Only some window appear for second and dismiss immediately. What can I do for playing demo, please?

I done it through the steam console
Copied efootball folder to the steam apps directory
launched steam console - start run steam://open/console
entered the command app_install 996480 996481

got a message saying efootball 2020 demo has downloaded

Got to say I prefer Hollands ARMAGEDDON V2 Update exe with NEW REAL SOCCER GAMING V2 -1 speed SS to the demo

I get same as you. I also tried panthera's method of adding via the steam console using app_install 996480 996481 but it didn't seem to do anything (no message about the demo having downloaded) and then when I try to launch it, it gives the following in the steam console:

ExecCommandLine: "D:\Steam\steam.exe steam://run/996480"
ExecuteSteamURL: "steam://run/996480"
GameAction [AppID 996480, ActionID 11] : LaunchApp changed task to RequestingLicense with ""
GameAction [AppID 996480, ActionID 11] : LaunchApp failed with AppError_5 with "FamilySharing"

I tried googling the error lines but didn't get a solution.

Start the game via EXE not via steam. Follow exactly the right folders.
 
EXE automatically launch steam and only small window saying that game is launching pop up for second, then nothing happens..
Maybe some steam emulator will help..

Same happens for me. As far as I can tell, I have put all files in exactly the said folders, launch the .exe and it causes steam to launch (ie. you see pop-ups saying steam is checking for updates, it finds your controller), but doesn't actually open the steam app window. Then a quick pop-up flashes to saying attempting to launch PES, then nothing.

If I then launch the steam console, then try launching PES demo via the .exe again, the console always gives the error messages :

GameAction [AppID 996480, ActionID 11] : LaunchApp changed task to RequestingLicense with ""​

If it relates, I don't have the family settings turned on in steam and don't particularly want to turn it on unless I have to. But is this required?
 
Something has happened to my Pes 2020. I had an edit file with loads of cpk files. I was using sider 6.3.7.

this morning, it said my data is from an older version (so assumed I needed to upgrade my sider). I downloaded sider 6.3.9.

however, I cannot install any cpk files using DP File generator.
Plus, Free Agents are missing.

does anyone have any idea what is going on?

Something is wrong with your DpFilelist.bin.

I already have the demo folder from last year but the game doesn't start from exe, and ask for an update for the demo.
do you have the latest demo exe file???

Yes I've all demo exes. If you want the latest I'll upload asap.

I use smoke patch and anytime I add a new system using stadium server through sider, I always get a black pitch with only visible adboards...
What might be wrong??

All the teams are mapped to the various stadium ID but I still get the same issue...its really disturbing
I'm only stucked to the smoke patch stadiumsšŸ˜£šŸ˜£
