eFootball PES 2020 Discussion Thread (PC)

Anyone have noticed sluggish, slow movement of player after one seaon of master league and with the dp 6 ? Weird physiques of players, bad control every time etc...
Before it was very good but completely change at some point
 
My PES 2020 video from 2 months ago, but released 2 weeks ago


I played PES 2020 on PC with and without mods. Since PES 2018, PC ports finally got the graphical fidelity of Xbox One / PS4 versions. Gameplay speed is slow and tactical, has that matured feeling from PES 2018. My video shows both unmodified and modded gameplay.

I won't continue with PES 2021, I already did three PES 2021 videos before jumping into older games. Here they are:

So I did WE2002 (I won't make any other PS1 PES video), WE10 (PES 6), PES 2014, PES 2015, PES 2016, PES 2017, PES 2018, PES 2019, PES 2020 and PES 2021 videos. I will continue with WE5 (PES 1), WE6 (PES 2), WE7 (PES 3), WE8 (PES 4), WE9 (PES 5), PES 2008, PES 2009, PES 2010, PES 2011, PES 2012, PES 2013 and it will be complete!

00:00-01:40 : PES 2020 Vanilla gameplay
01:40-02:16 : EvoWeb v8 gameplay but Konami Stadium Turf
02:16-04:29 : Modded stadium turf

Rewatching it now, 3:06 felt like a PES 2022 1.0 Stunning Cross. Very slow animation, taking his time to cross and gets awarded with accuracy.
 
Sorry to revive an old thread, but... As I said in another thread I'm trying to revive this game.
I got the oldest version available of the game (so hopefully it would play as closely as possible to the Xbox One version) but I have an issue I can't unsee even if it only happens during replays and cutscenes.

Has anyone experienced this glitch back in the day? See the player's right boot. It happens with almost every player.

I'm using the oldest possible version of the game (I think the manifest is 4740911837254756499 and it's the version released on September 10, 2019) if it helps.
I don't think it ever happened with the "final" version of the game and it isn't happening with PES 2021 either (this makes me think that I can exclude issues with the graphic card itself, at least I hope so).

By any chance, are you using an AMD card? Someone mentioned that this specific issue started after some specific driver version of AMD, even with PES 2021.

Yeah AMD here. I indeed updated drivers a couple of weeks ago but apparently I haven't seen anything like that in PES 2021 yet.
I'll try and revert to toe older ones and see if it's sixed though, thanks for the heads up.

I think no, i believe the disk version on console with no update is 1.00 while the oldest one for PC is 1.01.

if i remember correctly i enjoy playing the in patch 1.02 or 1.03

Yeah you're right. The oldest version released for PC is 1.01 while on Xbox One is, of course, 1.00 (and this kinda sucks).
It is a little different than the "plain" console version but it's still enjoyable (and can be modded!)

So you got me itching.
I downloaded 1.02.01 from Steam yesterday with the "depot" method and gave it a try.
It still plays good (aaaaand it also has a kinda licensed Serie B, with the teams having real names and logos but unfinished kits, most of them being just the plain kit template without sponsors).
There's a thing that I noticed and is that Salernitana played a very direct "hoofball" kind of football, which got me suspicious (I don't remember seeing it in 1.01.01). I reverted to the older version and, to my surprise, unlike the other teams that I tried, Salernitana played that kind of football also in that version (a thing that for example VVV Venlo, which is the team I played some matches against in the first version, didn't).
 
New FM24 gameplay remind me a bit with PES 2020, it's slow build up... the only big difference is once debruyne & foden (around 01:00 mark) move into the final third.

 
I got a strange bug. The flags, corner flags and nets flutter as if a hurricane is raging. How to fix this?
