Well, i'm from Brazil. I'll make a short intro to make it clear.
We have 2 big clubs in São Paulo here.
São Paulo, and Corinthians.
São Paulo won this year the Libertadores Cup for the Third Time. They also won the Toyota Cup (Teams World Championship that is a Friendly between Libertadores and CL Champions) two times.
Toyota Cup is the cup Porto won against Once Caldas last year.
In 2000 FIFA Made the first FIFA World Championship, and called all continental champions to participate. To complete 8 teams, they invited Corinthians, Brazilian Champion.
Real Madrid and Manchester Utd have sent their "reserve" teams to this competition,
Corinthians won Vasco in the final, and became FIFA World Champion.
São Paulo Supporters says that Corinthians title hasn't any value because they were invited, and it was only a "Summer tournament"
Corinthians Supporters says that the Toyota Cup is just a sponsored friendly, and may not be considered as a World Championship.
What do you think about these tournaments? Which one counts for you?
The other part is this one:
What do you think if Liverpool wins the CL again?
Reds fans would like it, but... they weren't allowed to play it! They were invited. Would you think that would be fair? Would you considerate their title?
Please give your opinions...
