How would that be any different from J League Winning Eleven 10 + European clubs? And its on PS2 hmm.. Guess that is what it is when someone mentioned Konami releasing more than 1 series?

great to see a brazilian and an argentinian team with licence in this new ps2 game! i hope this will open way to get more and more south american licences... it would be amazing!

If those are the only new teams then I think it's a bit disappointing. River Plate has been going through a crisis for some time. Why not Boca or Estudiantes?

It makes sense they addeded Internacional b/c they are the Copa Libertadores reigning champions but they are also the first champs that couldn't pass the group stage the following year. I haven't followed them this year so I don't know how good they are doing.

I guess they get what they can. On the positive side, at least these are the first South American teams to be fully licensed and that's a step forward.

River and Internacional are not the new teams. They are the new licensed clubs. River Plate was already in WE 10 but it was unlicensed.

River is newly licenced - been in since we5 i think, however, Internacional are new. From what i remember, we've only had Sao Paulo, Santos, Palmeiras, Cruzeiro and i think Vasco from Brasil

i won't say that there's no Emirates for this game as they do have the Arsenal lisence and i don't see why not put in Emirates or Allianz (Bayern right?) instead of Highbury.

Finally some comformation on a new Winning Eleven, but for PS2?? New modes sound interesting for sure but I was hoping to get some news on the PS3 version :(
Well a new Winning Eleven is never bad, bring the 2nd of august on!!

Exactly. I don't remember Cruzeiro. I think it was in WE7 but I definitely remember Vasco. I guess I was not too specific when I made my comment. Anyways, I'd probably wouldn't use any of those teams. I'm pretty sure Ortega will not be the same player in the game anymore and Sobis was the only guy I liked in Inter.

strange!! its very strange that they release two J-League games on the PS2 in such a short space of time. Its a real shocker this news.

Many thanks to Thomas and suffdaddy for the news and the blog thanks guys.For konami i dont know at least a street ANIME style winning eleven(probably different name) on the ps3 would make it fair enough and dominate completely the categories of the beautifull game before dominating the sport itself because really guys with the pace sir Shingo(he is the real sir not Alex)is going i dont know if the stadiums will have any fans at the next world cup

wrong date this should have been final evolution or something not in august though i don't know maybe pro evo 7 will come first this time and winning eleven 11 will be better

A lot of new modes = 1, World tour mode is old lol.

This is clearly the base game that will be used as a port for the next gen on PS3 sorry.

The player career mode is a good introduction i'd say. Counting on Konami to make it worth enough to keep me hooked on the new mode.
