Maradona-move

I recently installed WE8i and played a game with Arsenal and in this game, Henry did a spectacular finish twice: I call it the Maradona-move. It´s when the player shoots with his right foot behind his left leg (like Aimar did in the latest Primera-game).

What is needed by the player to perform this trick? I use the FM2005 stats on Henry. I´ve never seen this move in PES4 so I guess it´s something new in WE8i. Which more players can do this move?

You did a Rabona mate, most people call it the Rabona cause Recoba and Maradonna are the players who do it most frequently in the game. Here's one I scored recently in PES4 To pull it off you'll want a player who doesn't like to use his weaker foot, if the player is left footed run towards the post to his right and as you shoot aim at the other post, the other way around if the player if right footed.

it's not new, you can do it in pes4 too but you can't controll it with simple buttons combination; players who can perform this move must have one foot much better than the other (ie Recoba), I did it once with Torres too
they call it, depending on country, Rabona, La Bona, Le coup de fouleverd or smth, krzyzak, cross shot, etc.

//edit whoops too late ;p

Try it with Roberto Carlos as well sometimes if you`re running down the wing then cutin and shoot. He doesn`t like to use his right foot.

I don't think the reason for a rabona is a weaker foot. It would be harder to perform a rabona that kicking with your lesser foot.

99.9999% of footballers can kick with both feet.

The only excuse for doing a rabona is good old show boating!

I would not to be so sure about it :D
surely all of them can kick it with both feet but most of them can kick it hard and with good accuracy with their prefered foot only
it's an old excuse for missed goals in aftermatch interviews ("...if it only felt down on my left foot..")

I thought it was called the David Dunn? :mrgreen:
:lmao: Has anyone got a video of the David Dunn one? Thats just quality.

Through the years, argentina had many specialists in rabonas. Konami put the rabona to shoot, but that is wrong. Rabonas are mostly used to centre the ball to the area when you can't use your dominant foot.
I've almost never seen a rabona by a non argentinian player. Only one, from Cristiano Ronaldo, but it wasn't very aesthetic. I've seen Rabonas lately by Sorin, Aimar, Crespo, Coudet (did a rabona in the air, totally amazing), and specially Insua from Independiente. Could anyone tell me of any other player doing this?

cristiano ronaldo does it frequently. laurent robert, ronaldinho but to name a few. even i can do it :D

I could only do an effective rabona cross only a few times, I have to try it more often. Of course I can do simple low rabonas, but that's not big deal.
