Wearing an armband still won't stop racism because there is still a lot of ignorant people out there who hate the hell out of black people and other races. Bu it's still a good effort from nike.

I think the idea is good, but imo those kits are ugly, so is the Holland one. I'd rather see the ball or lots of adverts for it, but not a big badge on the center of the kit...maybe on the arm. But seriously its nice to see Nike doing something this time.

The ball would be the best idea. Maybe a black Nike Aerow with a white ring.

If you want to be picky, that wouldn't be "equality" per say then.

Good initiative although, just like with Livestrong, they'll be millions of posers wearing these as a fashion trend and nothing else. Ferdinand's facial expressions in the ad are hilarious.

I'm just saying that this looks like its gonna reach a point where we'll see too much anit-racism stuff that it'll turn into a money making scam by Nike.

I'm suspicious of Nike's motives. Jump on any bandwagon, even the serious one's. First they sponsor a few kits, then the ball etc etc

thierry henry suggested the idea of an anti-racism campaign after being given a blue beat bullying band on the way to psv with Arsenal FACT!

I think this is partly due to this being a nike movement.Adidas are the main sponsors of the spanish team and I dont think nike and adidas will ever work together.Its been heard that umbro will let the england team put the "Stand Up Speak Up" badge on their kits when then meet Holland tomorrow.

wow.. iwanted to buy those wristbands.. but the cost an arm and a leg at ebay... thats sucks... any1 in uk can hook me up with 3 wristbands for a good price?

They only cost £1.50 at most sports stores.
