GG are you being serious for the first time?? About the hangar?
Yes Milanista, I'm a prretty serious guy outside of off-topic, sorry if that's such a shock. Yes, Las Venturas Airport, once you go in the gates start driving south and you should pass the 2 passenger walkway things that stick out (the things passengers walk on to board an airplane), once you go by them you should see the biggest hangar in the airport ahead of you, stop in front of the dorr and it should slowly open.

Re: Official GTA: San Andreas Thread - DVD5 Format

Yeah, none of the links work. :D

strange so many people have a problem with that mission. i did it with the 2nd try. sorry no showoff
You must've been lucky by heading towards the targets in the right order then. It took me about 10 tries to get used to flying the plane (toy!).

I actually like Zero's last mission, that was pretty fun.

So anyone got 100%, yet? I am so sick of the game after travelling around San Fierro taking photos of circles in the sky.

There's one in the Naval Base that's pretty hard to get to. Is that the one you're talking about? I just drove to the end of the runway and zoomed in where the circle's supposed to be and took the photo even though I couldn't see it.

Re: Official GTA: San Andreas Thread - DVD5 Format

Yeah, the first time I went there the plane was in there for the takings, but last night I went again and it wasn't in there when the doors opened, strange, maybe it's a certain day of the week or time of day or something, I don't know, sorry.

Just drive onto the runway and take it from there. Just zoom in as close as possible. I didn't even see the circle thingy and it counted anyway. :D

Thanks Gazz...Lots of popular names in that list! I can only instantly recognise Sam Jackson as Tenpenny and Ice T as Madd Dogg...but other stars behind the voices are surprising! Cheers!

Yeah. I instantly recognised James Woods as Toreno (he also did a fantastic job as him).

From IGN.com

GTA: San Andreas Hits Xbox
Get ready for the hip-hop-heavy action-adventure on your Xbox and PC come June 7, 2005.
By Douglass C. Perry

December 16, 2004 - Rockstar Games let the good news fly today, announcing that its mega-hit Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will arrive on Xbox and PC on June 7 in North America. Euro-gamers will receive the fifth game in the series June 10, 2005.

Following Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City in this generation of console systems, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas takes place in the fictitious city of San Andreas and enables players to explore cities much like LA, Las Vegas and San Francisco, all of which take place in real estate that's approximately five times bigger than the landscape found in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

The game follows the African-American Carl Johnson, who escaped from the pressures of life in Los Santos, San Andreas five years ago. Returning to his hometown upon his mother's death in the early 1990s, his family has been torn apart. The game introduces a slew of new features including eating food to survive, the freedom to completely customize your character with tattoos, clothing, and haircuts, a brand new vehicle physics engine, and the ability to swim.

If Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is anything like the GTA bundle pack before it, then Xbox and PC gamers should expect no content changes to the gameplay, but they should look forward to higher resolution graphics, and better overall graphic presentation.

Plan on returning to IGN for massive coverage of this already awesome PS2 game in the near future.

With their being no news on the game til now I expect most people will already own the game for the PS2. I think thats one of the reasons that the PS2 has been selling lately, the fact that the game was unveiled as PS2 only, with Rockstar remaining tight lipped on any other version to make a shedload of cash in the run up to Xmas

Yes, brilliant! It's coming to the Xbox. If this game gets the same port that GTA3 and Vice City got I'm getting it straight away on Xbox even if I do already have the PS2 version. :D

WTF??? Why did they have to say thatin the review? If he was white would they have said "The game follows the Caucasian/White Carl Johnson"???

that is very good thinking.

I have just finished the game, or as much as I have time for. I couldn't do air raid which was a little frustrating, but all the other misssions are done.
I think it is a truly excellent game, but has a few frustrating problems:
(i) The girlfriends are incredibly dull. Really, what is the point? They need to radically overhaul this to make it fun.
(ii) Its impossible to tell which direction the thrusters are in for the jump jet (without crashing in the process). Why can't they put a little diagram on the screen to show.
(iii) It's very irritating when you are trying to target someone and instead shoot up in the air for some bizarre reason.
(iv) I was expecting hitman deagle to mean dual deagles. grr
So not many flaws as far as I am concerned. Anyone else care to add their issues with this great game? (I don't think graphics is a fair complaint)

I can`t wait for this game to hit the Xbox. But I have a question: Is it really THAT GOOD? Everyone went mad about Vice City, I bought it, and was bored in a week with it.

It appears that those who mod games have found a few bits and pieces that were coded but not actually left in the game

The release of this has caused this..

British censors have stated that the controversial Hot Coffee mod for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas won't change their rating for the title - but Australian censors may be on the verge of banning the title from sale.

Earlier this week the ESRB warned that San Andreas could be slapped with an Adults Only rating in North America after news emerged of the pornographic mini-game, which can be unlocked by downloading a mod from the Internet.

"We were not aware that the hidden content was in the game when we awarded the 18 rating, and our understanding is that Rockstar did not know the content was in the game," a representative of the British Board of Film Classification told GamesIndustry.biz.

"Even if we had been aware of it, we would not have had a problem," she continued. "From our point of view the hidden material does not contravene the 18 rating and so the rating stands."

However, unlike the UK, where the title is 18-rated, the highest rating which can be awarded by Australia's Office of Film and Literature Classification is MA15+. The board is notoriously strict when it comes to both violent and sexual content, previously refusing to classify titles such as Manhunt, NARC and Leisure Suit Larry and thereby effectively banning them from sale.

According to a statement issued by the OFLC, "The Classification Board is compelled to revoke a game's classification if it is found to contain undisclosed contentious material, whether activated through use of a code or otherwise."

OFLC director Des Clark commented: "Developments such as this are indicative of the increasingly complex technological world of entertainment in which we live."

"Our investigations show the National Classification Scheme at work and the Classification Board will take action, if required, when all the facts are established."

It seems the Aussies have no sense of humour

Now it appears that an Action Replay code has been found for the PS2 version of the game to unlock these extra Mini Games
