The interest isn't there, we planned to have a regular mini-tourney on Evo-Web and altho the first one went quite well it seems to have died already :(.
 
@Classic D- Maybe the World Cup will bring a new spark of interest!
(...or is there another xbox league worth joining)

We are about half way now to the amount of teams which are required.

We still need about another 10 teams before we can start the World Cup, just seems to be really slow this time around.
Last year managed to fill all 32 places in a couple of days this year it is taking ages.

To be honest I'm not so fussed over who I get, this tourney was good last time when it was treated as fun rather than ultra-competitive so I hope it's done the same way this time.

Any idea whether we're using default PES5 or Superpatch 2.0?
 
If everyone has Superpatch 2.0 then I guess we could all use that, cos I dont use it at the moment cos no-one online ever uses it.

My pc is currently down the pan at the moment due to selling my graphics card to get a 7800gtx, but the website will be updated on Tuesday and will have all the players taking part added.
 
I don't use superpatch 2.0, but if you link me, I'll do another install and set it up.

I had four installs of PES4 with different patches.

Am I an addict? :(
 
I have the superpatch on but it's simply a case of backing up the original AFS files and using the PES5 Version Changer to switch, I can play either.
 
I'd like to play too, please; I'm on my work computer at the moment, so the ping data isn't available, but it is usally pretty solid.
 
We have 24 names in the hat that means we need a furthur 8 before the tournament can begin.

Unless we go back and replay USA 94 where there was only 24 teams.

The problem last year was folk who said they'd play and then didn't bother. The longer it goes on before it starts the more likely it is we'll have this problem again, and there's fewer numbers this year so it'd be even more prominent. :(

Maybe some folk could choose two teams if we're really struggling, and then give someone who went out another chance should a situation arise whereby someone is 'playing themselves'?
