I dont know if any of you remember but last year, I started a PES 4 world cup tournament that arguably went pretty good.

So I am going to start the tournament again this year in which players can again register to join the World Cup.

Every team this time around will be drawn at random and will use random groups based on the 32 teams who have qualified for the 2006 World Cup in Germany.

I am hoping ClassicD will return to defend his trophy.

I am hoping to get the website and draw done ASAP as soon as there are 32 players wanting to take part. The exact date will be given when everything is ready.

Also one last condition of entry.
Everyone must goto command prompt and ping www.jolt.co.uk
If your ms average is above 50 then sorry you cannot enter the tournament, this is to stop people having badly lagging matches.

That is true I suppose, but would have to have some way in which people can complain about the lagging.
Cos lag is a huge problem and I know some people do cheat as I was beating a German guy 3-0 in the 60th minute all of a sudden the game became unplayable and the guy manage to get a 3-3 draw.

I haven't even had time to start playing 5 online yet. But I was the same with the last WC and I really want revenge against CD. Hopefully I get a good team like Spain again :-)

Also hopefully we don't have a big delay between 1/4's and semi's this time ;-)

The website for the World Cup will be up at the weekend, thanks to the fact that the World Cup draw is tonight.

Come on people this was a good tournament last year and we can make this one a great tournament, but we seriously need players.
At the moment we only have 9 and we need another 23.
Surely there is more people out there willing to take part and just have abit of fun.

I'm interested in participating. My ping:

Lol, you haven't change some of the data from last time. I almost had a flashback seeing the top scorer stats :-).

I assume you'll do a random draw for the teams like last time?
I'm dreading it because I was lucky to get Spain last time, but no way will my luck hold out twice.

The teams will be drawn at random but the groups will stay true to the world cup.

And yes some of the pages have flashbacks, just to show that although I never won the tournament last time round I had the leading scorer.

i'll play and lose first round if there's still spaces

My average ping was 13ms.

I'm working out a way to cut out the bandwidth cheaters

It involves running a traffic logging application that records bandwidth useage every few seconds.

Although to be fair you did have Adri-score goals from any where-ano.

You just need to make sure the logger doesn't actually affect the bandwidth and create more latency.

Yeh. it won't affect the latency at all.

Thanks for more people signing up, the problem though is we still need about another 20 people before we can start the tournament.

I take it then people have converted away from the PC version this year.

Yeah people have went for PS2 this year because it's online. It's the machine the game is best on IMO and I'd play it on that too but I can't due to my reliance on the HDD which of course rules out online play. I have the Xbox one, didn't get the PC one.

Anyway just posted to say I didn't win last year, Teegran defeated me 3-0 in the final ;).

Good luck with your tourney guys.

work with me. let us combine your skills for sites with my skills with managing leagues, cups and my contacts. I can get 30 players to sign up in 1 day
