This was shown on Sky Sports' SoccerAM this morning. The proposed advert for the forthcoming Pro Evo 5. Filmed at The Den, filming of a revised advert will be made next week because this version was banned. Why?
Becasue the British Advertising Commision felt that the groundsman could have been killed when the lawnmower went over the cable!

stupid mistake by the director to not edit that out, decent advert nonetheless. Better then the fifa one with rooney and ronaldinho.

Shit, did they really go over the power line...

No, I bet it was an effect overlayed.

With the same respect, surely they shouldnt show the 'slow down' adverts because someone gets hit by a car.

Why did it get abnned? Because the guy goes of the pwer line?

And whats taht dubbed voice at the end say?

why the hell was it banned there is nothing offensive in it so whats wrong can anyone tell us why

The voice says "Try telling them it's only a game!"

Why ban it? Stupidity! Do they expect kids going to go running power cables with lawnmowers and killing themselves?

Still, they're making a new advert, and as they're filming next week it'll most likely include Terry and Henry again. Or maybe they'll just replace the dodgy bit and keep the current one and just put in new bits.

More than likely they'll just edit in a lawnmower pulling the power cord out as it goes past, instead of actually running over it.....

Really stupid decision to ban the ad in the first place.

the ad is rubbish, PES4 one was much better.

The PES4 ad was funny, mainly because of Henry's horrible acting, but also it just looked really cheap. At least with the PES5 ad it looks like Konami made an effort...

A player for Falkirk died earlier this year because he hit a powerline with a metal post he was carrying onto the pitch where they were training, might have been benned with respect of this?

Maybe a simple cut to the Groundsman still being very much alive after cutting the line would have done the trick. I think the dramatic "Noooooo" at the ending is pretty hilarious, but also a bit eerie, maybe because Henry and Terry are watching the groundsman being fried? :-P
