I would like to start a new thread focused on this new season. What would be your dream team? You can spot only eleven players, three defenders at least, and only one goalie. The rest is unrestricted. You have to show your lineup.

Baptista is much more of an attacking midfielder than a defender one... although he started as so with Brazil, he has achieved glory as second top or offensive midfielder, can't see him behind Gerrard. Good team though.

Could swap around a few and then the team would be slightly more realistic.

Maybe. Personally I think Reina is bound to perform well, so are Casillas, Valdés and Abbiati. That's what I think...

I dont really see anything special in Reina.

Then wait and you'll see. He is a fantastic keeper, no wonder why he's made it into the national team instead of Cañizares or Valdés. He's the most complete Spanish keeper after Casillas, and he's young enough to become a great one.

Will it appear a new great striker this year, as Ibrahimovic or Rooney did a couple of years ago? I think it may be... it's so boring to see the same guys year after year: Henry, Shevchenko, Ronaldo, RVN... Adriano, Rooney, Zlatan are a new generation, let them be the real stars this season!

Here comes a great generation of players, the next World Cup will be amazing!
