Ps3 Evo-Web fifa10 league?

Hey guys.... I hope this is not going to be a problem, but I've tried to play a few games this weekend, but because of the time difference, it's been a challenger. & then whenever I've found people who were online, I would send an invite & then nothing would happen for 20 minutes. Any advice on what I should do? I don't want to hold up the league or anything by not getting any games played.

add everybody to your friendslist, send them a PM message when you're free to play and once you got their reply over PSN send the actual league match invite.

It's really hard to notice the match invite if you aren't in the tournament standings menu (which is probably why people have ignored your invites thus far) whereas the PSN personal message pops up on screen regardless of what you're doing.

I've also been kicking most of the italian board players' because they openly admitted to use fully assisted controls and refuse to comply even though the rules did not allow them (their stance on the matter basically was "hurr durr but those are the default controls thus this is how FIFA developers intended us to play the game, furthermore pretty much EVERYONE plays like that online so WHY shouldn't we?!"...way to miss entirely the whole point of the tournament) so the league is going to get smaller very soon and mostly comprised of evo-web'bers so hopefully, as a consequence, the time difference won't be as much of an issue anymore.

haha sure, I really wouldn't mind handing you a quick disconnect victory (which would register as a 3-0 in your favor) instead of replaying the whole match though (I think we had only played one match, right?).

I know, I know, I'm in a work overload right now until friday and won't touch the console (if you see me online it's my girlfriend, not me :SHOCK:). But then I will play a lot during the weekend.

By the way, a single victory with my full manual Osasuna should be enough to deserve a place in the playoff, isn't it?

yeah I really wanted unique teams as well but a lot of people (most of which have been kicked for using fully assisted controls...) did not agree and I had to give in :(

Also guys, sign-up to the tournament on FIFA 10 so we can see when you're online and invite you to a tournament match even if you aren't on the friendlist (adding everybody else to your friendlist is also reccomended since it improves communications and makes inviting people a lot smoother).

I signed to the tournament yesterday but there was nobody to play with, (except tobi that was on a bap night), so I expect to make my debut today with Osasuna and ashame someone of the big clubs now and then.
 
Mo--2, I've just noticed that you played 3 matches between yesterday and this morning (against marci, SGHE and another opponent whose name escapes me at the moment), the results and scorers are missing on both forums tho, would you mind posting em please so I can update the rankings?

so yeah, as a general rule of thumb, post your matches results and scorers on this thread as I am collecting them from all of the message boards involved to keep the rankings updated.

Keep in mind that the winner of the top-goalscorers ranking will get 1 extra point in the final teams ranking which might help the team to get into the playoffs!

Please remove me from the league Retri - i have created static ip on ps3 and put my router in a dmz - no go. I give up. What sort of game in this day and age has this basic problem. poor, poor, poor. Glad you are all connected but for me, it's not a good experience. Thanks for your time.
 
Hi, I have a strange problem, as most of you will know. I can play any kind of online match, except friendly league games. The game asks for rosters update and then says the session is lost when arriving to the team selection screen. It's really odd because I can play perfectly against anyone... Buggy buggy game, really. I wasted up to 2 hours trying to play you guys on friday.

Will try again today or tomorrow, if I can't join a match then I will sadly have to remove my proud Osasuna from the league...

just making sure, is that "AVF_JonneyM" or somesuch who just joined (he picked Sao Paulo) you, jonneymendoza?

I believe that "AVF" stands for "audiovideo forum" or something along those lines, tobi316 told me about it a few days ago in chat lol.

Also: sorry about your connection problems Mayareira, we will re-play the match tomorrow or so!

yea thats me mate. use that gamertag for fifa 10 and my other one for other games.
 
You better put me out of the league. I keep having connection problems (I think it's because of my ISP) and there's no reason to play full manual with osasuna and lag against top teams playing semi/assisted controls.

Now, if any of you wants to play manual games now and then, count with me, because for some reason I can play almost lag-free head to head matches. Go figure...

alright Drekkard, I'm sorry to hear that you haven't been able to fix your lag/connection problems (I think EA is at fault here though because I'm getting a lot of disconnections as well) and I totally understand if you don't feel like playing the tournament anymore, given the circumstances.
