Sorry to do this but I'm going to have to quit the league, its nothing against the other players, its simply that I've had enough of the awful AI and other issues. I get angry every time I play the game because of something the AI does or doesn't do, I have to stop.

Man, I understand if people like Drekkard and akacrayon quit because they've been having connection issuses since day 1 and even if we've tried several times there doesn't seem to be a way to play together but ragequitting over a few lost matches even though I'm trying my best, oftentimes going out of my way more to keep everything in place (even though people aren't exactly cooperating - you should take a look at the italian thread, it's a mess) and the Assisted players/cheaters out of the league (which has unsurprisingly proven to be a troublesome task) is really fucking petty.

I've lost several matches during the past few days due to AI mistakes but never once thought of dissolving the league just because I was pissed, as I don't particularly enjoy wasting people's times.

Also, I don't get it, 3/4 of the people who originally signed up either did not register to the tourny on FIFA or didn't even show up once (albeit they're constantly complaining about how shitty the online is due to people using Assisted controls and about how awesome playing with SEMI/MANUAL people would be and so forth) and don't give me that shit about timezones being far apart because at the beginning most of the league was comprised of evo-web'bers.

I got a life too, a fiancee who lives with me, a job, my own house and Dachshund puppet to take care of but fuck, when I sign up to something I stick with it because I know that there's people who're taking away from their spare time to keep it going...I wonder why people become so careless and disrespectful when they're on the web because I'm pretty sure that each one of you doesn't quite act like this IRL, bah (I've actually had this happening a few times before, the italian Sensible World of Soccer Online website went downhill for the exact same reasons and I'm fairly close to saying fuck-off to the internet as a whole since it looks like it's just a huge clusterfuck of trolls and lamers)...

That being said do as you see fit tobi but think about it, all you gotta do imho is taking it slowly and play just a few matches/week (besides, you're still in the playoff zone mate).
 
Fair enough, I'll continue with the league and play all my matches.

Well, I hope you enjoy the league everyone. I'm sure it'll be on a more positive direction with "slow" players like me out of the way.

I was planning to limit myself to 2-4 games a week which didn't seem to suit the nature of the league. I tried my best to keep up in my tight schedule, signed up on day one and played my matches right off the bat, however I believe my opponent got disqualified or quit the league(benpal, Palermo). During that time I think there was a reset as well.

Week after that there was a connection related problem which, again prevented me from playing matches. By that time even though I did technically played 2 games and attempted more my "official" played count got stuck at 0. This, without a doubt was frustrating for me and everyone.

With that clarified, I wish everyone a good, fun and competitive league.

Too many matches ended up being replayed via lobby due to disconnections so the only useful ranking is the one I put together at the end of each week, therefore you guys MUST post your goddamn results and scorers lists in this thread, otherwise your matches will be invalidated (I'm looking at you Mo--2 and gchord).

What the heck is up with people, seriously, why can't you guys follow even the simplest rules.
 
i hav quit gaming for a while nevermind this league. some here knows why but wont dive into it. i might come back next year but for now i am dealing with shit in my life atm.

Retri, for future games can you please ask the players at the other forum to not use multi coloured balls.

My away fixture today was played with a blue ball, it was very hard to see the ball especially when Porto have a blue kit to match. I missed an open goal at the end because I didn't know where the ball was.

Also, a new rule has been put in place: those who haven't played at least 2 matches in the last 15 days will get kicked (as I have queued plenty of requests to join the league already anyway and I kinda wanna get the replacements in since people aren't playing as frequently as I would like it to be)

*a LOT of Mo--2's scorers are missing because he hasn't bothered with submitting them.

THE PLAYOFFS TABLE

a few changes have been made: 16 teams will now advance instead of 8 and there will be 2 preliminary rounds (meaning that you'll get an easier/harder ride to the Final depending on your position in the league tables at the end of the regular season).

Also:

The regular season closes on the 15th of January: the first 16 teams will advance to the playoffs, hoever in order to get through you\\\'ll have to play at least the 85% of the regular season matches (aka: 50 matches out of 58).
 
Whoever wants/must get in contact with Retri, find another way. His league stuff here is done. And don't bother opening new threads, they'll be deleted anyway.
