Qestion about data next to player names in game

OK ive been playing PES for many years and never bothered to find out what the lights next to the player mean.

Also today, I noticed that people seem to get the ball off me much easier than I can - I then noticed its the computer pressing me!

Im sure everyone else apart from me knows this - but what are the lights for and why does everyone apart from me have and lit up there as well?

there tatics is your on a ps2 pad hold R2 and press either one of the buttons and it will lights up on the screen, as for the lights at side of name there for how hard you or your opp are attacking ,,,, hope this helps

Would just like to correct you and say that it is L2 you use for tactics. I'm sure he will figure that out but for the sake of clarity...
