Question about Professional Soccer in Brasil

Wassup everyone,

I got a quick question about professional soccer in Brasil. I was wondering are there any other foreigners from outside of South America playing professional soccer in Brasil? I was thinking about this yesterday and I was wondering that other than other players of South American descent if there are foreigners from other countries playing professional soccer in Brasil?

If someone who follows Brasillero futebol can answer this question I would really appreciate it. Peace.

At least it's cool to see that foreigners who want to challenge themselves in Argentina can go there, now I wonder if the same thing is possible in Brasil? It would be cool if it was because I love South American style futebol and if there were foreigners who wanted to challenge themselves in a country like Brasil that option would be available if they were good enough.

Mate, the sad fact is the Brazillian teams won't ever be able to compete with the European teams in terms of wages. But in saying that, I've read of a story a few months ago about a couple of London lads who were sponsored to go live in Brazil to play football.

Well wages is completely understandable there is no way that the infrastructure in Brasil will allow for Brasillero clubs to be able to compete with European clubs in terms of wages but it appears that if foreigners want to play professional futebol in Brasil although it will mean significantly less wages that option is open.

A year ago a Chinese player played for Boca Juniors, but then thats Argentina.
Isn't chinese, japanese if is Naohiro Takahara.

I think isn't any similar player in the Brasileirao now, I think the last was the serbian Petkovic, of Fluminense.

Well at least the option is available if a foreigner was good enough to play in Brasil he could play there although there may be some opposition by other Brasillians seeing a foreigner taking a Brasillian position on a club team but if a foreigner is good enough it's cool they could have an opporutnity to play in Brasil because of the amazing syle of futebol they play there.

Some years ago, Flamengo had a polish midfielder, but i don't remember his name.

2nd division club, of my town, Avai FC, had a Cameroon DMF this year, called Steve.

And Dejan Petkovic plays for fluminense.

you sure about that mate? Tevez? wasnt he a 15 million dollar transfer to corithians...
Carlos Alberto? Junhino? Brazil might not be able to compete with England, and Italy and Spain, but def with europe as a whole..

The best player in Brazil right now is a guy called Petkovic , he is eastern european:applause:
