recommend me a formation

I got Bolton in master league, and im finding it real difficult to score goals and i have tried a variety of formations. I play on 6* and here is my team lying 4th in division 2, after the first transfer window.

Al Habsi

DF:
Maxwell
Gardner
N'gotty
Hunt
Ben Haim
Campo

MF:
Nolan
Okotcha
Faye
Stelios
Nakata
Speed
Kaku
Fadiga

CF:
Davies
Borgetti
Rooney
Torres
Yakubu
 
how are you struggling to score with those forwards?

Anyway, try a 4-3-3 with torres central holding up the ball and rooney and yakubu alongside. And dont nudge them back so they form a little triangle....line em up all 3 along the goals (trust me it works)

Also, try playing campo at DMF.

Play two forwards, Rooney and Yakubu. And for Rooney, give him a normal defensive stance and give him to attacking arrows going up and down. And also make him a SS and move him back a bit.

And then watch him own the last 3rd of the pitch. ;)

This formation works like a dream, its almost as if your playing with an extra man....hang on a sec??

Create your own 4-4-2

With a England style triangle rmf, lmf, dmf & amf, works well for most teams except 4-3-3, in which case a 4-4-2 B3 or B4 - it styfuls the midfield and gives good opportunities for breaks, if your playing counter attack, that is.

use this as rooney gt pace to give midfield and defenders nightmares !! and use the individul player role of what you think will best suit ur game!! tell rooney to get in the box and in the middlefield area... make okacha attck through left or right hand side only so that he can get you crosses !! and other are okk!

We'd all love to play with 12 players but unfortunately the rules do not allow it ;)

With those players I'd maybe go with 3-4-3.
 
hi mates....

i just want to ask u for a suitable formation to beat my friend who's playing with avery tight defensive formation 4-3-3 with players in the midfield 1CMF and 2DMF with high defensive stance for all players of the midfield and defence also he playes with avery defensive team (England)

IMO that's not really a defensive formation as it has 3 forwards but I can see how it could be hard to break down. The way you play would affect your results more than your formations.

Suggestions for you try:
4-2-2-2
4-4-2 diamond
4-3-1-2
4-2-3-1.
