Steaua bucharest is a romanian team witch wond 23 championships, 20 romanian cups, 5 romanian super cups , 1 uefa champions league in 1986 after penaltyes
, 1 european super cup in 1987 and losed with river plate in 1987 in the intercontinental cup 1-0.
Steaua beated standard Liege yesterday with 2-1 and entered after 10 years in the UEFA champions league groups.Last year we have pklayed the uefa cup semifinal and 2 years ago beated valencia in the uefa cup and losed with vilareal in the quatre-finals of uefa cup!
Steaua is the best team in romania!!!Forzza Steaua!

midlesbrought had very much luck becoz in the first match steaua wond 1-0 and in the second match haved 2-0 but....loosed 4-2 :( macarone sucks!at steaua played the greatest romanian player all times GHEORGHE HAGI and scored in the european super cup when steaua beated dinamo kyev 1-0!!!after that hagi had been transfered too REAL MADRID! ;)

I`m a little bit sad for ogararu becoz he transfered to ajax from steaua to play in the groups but...ajax was eliminated and steaua beated standard...too bad for him :(

Macarone is hardly used for Middlesbrough, he is our super sub, your bound to say he sucks as he scored the winning goal, unlucky.

I didn't come in this thread to give abuse, I like Staua Bucharest :)
 
Incredible....steaua will play with real madrid lyon and dinamo kyev :D wow what a group. maybe we will obtain the third place but is very hard :P

Nice one IceMan, it will do a job. Im happy to put some more teams back into the game and get rid of the old ones.
 
can`t wait too see real madrid at buccharest!!!onestly i wanted to see barcelona becoz barca is my favorite team from spain but real is a big team...it will be very hard with lyon and real but i hope we will obtain a victory agains real or lyon becoz agains dinamo kyev a want a victory and a draw ;) steaua can becoz we don`t have nothing too lose just to win !
 
Wow, 14 championships, he should have took over Spurs after 89, a pretty decent team that needs that extra little push to get some trophies in the cabinet.
 
until 1989 Steaua had 14 championships 1 uefa champions league and 1 european super cup and after 1989 9 championships 4 uefa champiohs league qualifications 1 uefa cup semifinal 1 quatre final on uefa cup...5 romanian supercups...and in total 20 romanian cups!
 
Why wouldn't Ceauşescu think about coming to England after all those wins though? He could have made a smaller club successful here.
 
wow!:D ceausesc was a comunist president it was very hard for romanian players to transfer in other leagues...to move the team in other league it was imposible!
 
Oh now i see, but maybe if Ceauşescu was thinking right at the time he might have let Stoitchkov, Hagi and a few others free transfer over to Wimbledon or Crystal Palace during the 90's so he could have someone to pump the iron fist in the air on British soil, or maybe even he himself could have came like Roman Abromovich and take over a club, surely he had millions of sterling at his disposal hidden behind the red curtain.

nicolae dobrin the best romain midlefielder ...he had an offer from real madrid in the 1970 years but ceausescu don`t want and he played at fc arges pitesti...a small club from romana...poor dobrin...he could play like hagi at real madrid...but!
 
Do you remember the defender during the early 80's for Galatasary? I think his name was Lozeanu, he was a great defender and he defied Ceausescu and moved to napoli in Italy playing for them but when he got back to romania a year later to visit his family he had his legs taken off so he couldn't play again. It took him years but he defied Ceaucescu again in the early 90's by being the first to play semi-professional with 2 prosthetic legs in a Spanish C-League team.
 
Yes I love Romanian soccer man, ever since you let my team Ireland win in World Cup 1990 I've started following everything about Romania.
 
good transfers for steaua!ovidiu petre played at galatasaray poli timisoara and costed steaua 1 milion $ he is a stopper position....Cyril Théreau a very good strriker from belgium from Charleroi SC. and costed 600.000$.He scored 3gols in 4 matches for R. Charleroi SC. in the belgium championship.And Stelian stancu from sportul studentesc he is a right defender where we don`t have so good player.he is very good and costed 500.000 $.I think we are ready for the battles with Real Madrid and Lyon.Real isn`t playng very well and we need to profit!!!
