The 'jink'

Ok so I'm used to playing the PS2 version of PES and the R2 button jink you are able to do on that version doesn't seem to be available on the 360 version... Or am I wrong playing online yesterday I saw it done twice... How do I do it? The manual and controls list within the game is usual crap 'japanglais' and makes little or no sense.

Can anyone enlighten me?
 
I dont even have a 360 but I believe the way to pull off the sidestep shimmy is press d-pad in 90 degree direction in relation to the original dribbling direction while NOT sprinting. ie if dribbling STRAIGHT from left to right then to sidestep pressing up or down would perform the trick.
