Can you tell me where you heard this as I am intrigued?

I go on MI6 forums and Bond sites a lot and Bale apparently is not in the running. Bales is a great actor and although the next film is Casino Royal where we learn of Bond's origins I think Bale is a tad too young.

The whipser with Bond fans is still with Owen and Craig both of which I find disappointing choices. Owen looks like an Eastend bouncer when he wears a tux!

I am putting my money on a relative unknown who as yet has not been rumoured for the role.

Well established quality film actors don't get the role of Bond as the producers won't pay their high fee. Hence Brosnan's departure for asking for $42 million.

Famous actors don't make Bond, Bond makes actors famous.

Expect any actor who has ever worn a tux to be rumoured as the next Bond!

According to www.empireonline.com it could be Orlando Bloom.

Casino Royale is a good story, but I feel Bloom is too young also.

Martin Campbell who directed Goldeneye, and also the recent Zorro film, has been confirmed as being he director of Casino Royale.
 
The whole Bloom thing has been taken way out of context. There are a couple of new "Young James Bond" novels being written for release later in the year and Bloom said he would enjoy playing the part of young James Bond.

It will be not Easy, after a actor like Pierce Brosnan to play the Bond!
Bond was always a ladykiller and Gentlemen! This was Perfekt for Pierce, but Orlando??????? He is a Babyface! and the Chance to make a big Flop is great! I think Pierce will come Back, nothing else in this moment can Play a realistic Bond!

German Press says That Brosnan is Back, he will Play in the new Casino Royal the James Bond!

Pierce, you are the one and only Bond!
 
If its true I think that Daniel Craig will make a good Bond, from what I have read it seems that Clive Owen didnt want to commit to the role for the next 3-4 years.

Craig has a dangerous edge that I think any Bond needs

Casino Royale is basicaly the first bond film! or to be more exact it was a spoof with James Bond in rather than a James Bond film. The main Mr Bond was played by David niven. Do you think Caig will dye his hair? Ive also heard that the second film will be a remake of thunderball again. (never say never again)!
 
Caisno Royale is where we learn of Bond's origins and how he gets his 00 prefix.

Ignore the shite spoof with Niven which bore no resemblence to the novel.

The end scenes turned farce because Sellars walked off the set and refused to come back so they didn't know what else to do. Hence the film made no sense either!

I won't believe any thing the Sun says about who is the new Bond. They tipped Eddie Murphy for the role once!!! :lmao:

Casino Royale has the potential to make or break the Bond franchise.
