Transition from PES 21 to efootball 2022 (Reflexion)

I would like to know your thoughts on this matter specially from the modders of this website, how do you feel after two long years developping different mods to PES 21 to enhace the overall experience for all players and users believing in this last pes like the best football simulation overall and seeing how a "new" football game comes from konami "efootball 22" and everyone is hyped and quit PES 21 as efootball is now the candy of the cake so most of the people will not play PES 21 anymore so mods will get outdated on this outdated game at some point and I feel like I have spent a lot of hours to try to have best football game simulatior for nothing and I feel really sad and angry how everybody is now playing a fortnite football game, even maybe modders will get unmotivated to keep releasing new wonderful mods for this PES and they are gonna now focus on the new game. A game created in a online enviroment "free to play" to collect coins payed by real money like an online casino what was konami wanted from long time ago and offline players getting kicked cause no offline modes at all and without modding section. Do you keep releasing mods for PES 21? Will you change to fortnite football? Do you feel not enought motivated to still creating the best football game ever? How do you feel seeing all PES community going to efootball and liking it?

I am still playing PES 21, modded up it is still ahead of efootball for all its faults.

Modders work on pes21 is not lost on Me.

It surprises Me greatly how people enthuse about a demo, a poor demo at that, whose ongoing mission is to make the customer base spend hard earned cash on loot boxes and add ons. Couple with that the first version was one, if not THE worst game release in gaming history.
Hell, it must be some extremely meteoric turnaround if people actually like efootball now, it may just be Me, and the community is changing
and is no longer bothered about immersive, realistic content, but actually wants a fairly shallow, spin the wheel and gamble type content.

The cross platform development IMO is a cynical marketing ploy to pool customer numbers and induce greater loot box spending.

Give Me a game, a full game with all the content there on day one, and I will happily pay full price for it and will take it & work with it for all its faults.
But don't expect Me EVER to pay for a spin of the wheel, or any other add on content they insult You with by charging for it.

This game has a very long way to go before I muse with it. My hype train is still in the sidings for the time being.

Fair point Super Leeds. Your right, this is gaming in 2022 and its a different qorld from the respect of a fully complete product released on time for full price. Pay to win and soon play to earn is sadly a model which has embedded itself into society.

While I'm really enjoying efootballl 2022 theres still things to actually do offline in 2021 so overtime unless a patch comes out or some offline efootball game i can see most of the community continuiing with this game.

I think once we work out the new unreal import structure much of the modding tools will fit well into the new efootball. Graphically things will upscale massively though. Looking forward to seeing what can be done with stadiums and day to night real time lighting and weather.

PES 2021 is a classic game so some may stay on it forever šŸ˜„

I'm not sure it's being enjoyed quite as much as you are thinking it is.

It's reaching its highest ever numbers on Steam right now, but that's coming from a pathetically low base. There's still a solid 2021 playerbase from the looks of it. There's a bit of a hype bubble with v1 releasing; it will burst if they don't keep people's attention.

Oh wow, I assumed the numbers would be much higher. As of this moment, there are 5k players of PES 2021 (a game that's done and dusted at this point, excluding hardcore players like members of this forum) - and for eFootball, just 6k. Barely any different.

Yet they will make enough money from the guys who insist they love this game and must win at all costs to keep its painfully slow production going. Not from strength to strength, but from "dreadful" to "less dreadful" to "not quite as dreadful with some promise" to "wait a minute, this engine has the depth of a puddle and needs to make my players idiots so that the guy with the strongest team wins".

Its overstated
first about modding community, apart from teams unlocker and some little graphic mods
there is no way to import mods to the game atm
I don't get why you are so sad and angry about that

Second, saying efootball is a trash game and modded 2021 is a real simulator are also overstated
that means I don't think 2021 is that good and efootball is that bad(unfinished game ofc)
And I don't really like these two games
