If you have the original game and a Japanese PS2 it should be possible.

not 100% sure but i think it's impossible to play on japanese servers unless you're in japan even if you are using an original disc and a japanese ps2, also i think you have to pay to play online

You're right. You have to be living inside Japan.

the trick is u have to own a japanese account and a credit card registered in japan.so it's quite impossible :|
btw dunno if exist any ILLEGAL ways
