World or Euro football on UK television... WTF??

How come every other country in the world gets highlights of world or european football when the UK doesnt.

Sky TV in Italy shows goals of all matches in Europe in one program yet our Sky only shows the EPL and La Liga. WTF is up with that.

Also we get Serie A on Bravo now!? Thats awful.

Is Eurogoals still on Eurosport?

Why do we get so much less than everyone else?
 
I get Eurosport aswell:D To be exact Sky Italy shows EPL, Liga, SPL, Bundesliga, Serie A, CL, Uefa cup, and we have this free sports channel that shows Eredivise.

Does anyone with Sky UK then know what channels show Ligue 1 or Bundesliga. I take it back about Bravo, their serie A coverage is v. good this season.
 
UK tv sucks. The only way to watch decent foreign footy is to stay up late and watch the Argentinian, French, Portugese football, etc on Channel 5.

Theyre all on Setanta too but for £14 a month fuck that

When you say Setanta, do you mean the PPV channel or the proper one that shows SPL?
 
I'm looking at installing a motorised satellite setup (initial outlay about £300, then £100 for 6 months ART Sports) which will give me all the football I could ever imagine.
 
SKY - ~£40 per month
Setanta - £14 per month
Total - ~£620 per year

Alternative:
Outlay for equipment - ~£300
6 Months ART Subscription - ~£100

So after 1 year I'll have saved ~£120 and each month thereafter I'll save ~£34 per month. Now, which deal do you think is better?

Just thinking about it myself though.
