Best NZB Sites?

Just wondering if any of you guys use NZBs and if so, which sites do you use to find your NZBs?

I don't wanna know what you're downloading!!! Just the site! Cheers.

Newzbin = best (good time to get credit as they do half price sales around Christmas time so 52 weeks of premium for around £8, saved searches, bookmarks, things like that make it the best/simplest to use)
2nd best = nzb matrix (one off payment of £7 gets premium access for life)
3rd best = nzb club (completely free, some ok search options, not as good as the premium two)
4th best = binsearch (free, most basic of search options, good length retention search)

Thanks Placebo. I can't believe they are charging on sites like this. Think I'll stick to free ones! Will deffo give those 2 a try though.

I use a combination of NZB Matrix and binsearch. I just copy the nzb title in the main menu from matrix and paste it in the search bar in binsearch. 9/10 you get the same files and it doesn't cost you a linkdownload (which are max 10 per day on matrix).

nzbmatrix for me

used to use newzbin until it got took down and repopened with other people.. not been the same since unless it has improved again placebo?

but yea nzbmatrix for me as it is always updated, easy to use and most importantly, people use it for giving feedback on the comment system which helps

Yeah it's exactly the same as before, works perfectly now and has done for many months, I have 185 days left but will add another half year after Dec 21st when it's half price, due to the huge amount of TV shows I watch it's much easier to go there, click the saved link of the show, click to bookmark, then repeat for each other show.

Is there a way on Newzbin to see comments on the files? so you don't download a duff file?

Yes if people post comments you can see them quite easily:

Yep, I'm on Sky and Newzbin doesn't work anymore. I much prefer places like NZBClub and MysterBin anyway - it always annoyed me on Newzbin when you couldn't see more information about the particular file. For example, NZBClub / MysterBin show the full filename so you can tell if something is BDRip, DVDRIP, 720p HDTV etc whereas Newzbin just shows the title and year.

Click the report and it shows all that info, or simply alter your search if you want to search something specific such as video format etc etc

Newzbin is having their Christmas sale right now, 15p a week, bought 32 weeks for £5.30 to get me through to next Christmas :)

Newzbin shut down again :(

It is with regret that we announce the closure of Newzbin2.

A combination of several factors has made this the only option. For a long time we have struggled with poor indexing of Usenet, poor numbers of reports caused by the majority of our editors dropping out & no-one replacing them. Our servers have been unstable and crashing on a regular basis meaning the NZBs & NFOs are unavailable for long periods and we don't have the money to replace them.

Newzbin2 was always hoped to be a viable underground commercial venture. The figures just don't stack up. Newzbin1 was said to have had 700,000 registered users. In fact that was the total number of people who ever signed up in the history of Newzbin from 2000 onwards & only a fraction were active, loads of people dropped out & went to other sites. We reckon they had about 100,000 users and of those only a few 10's of thousands paid premium topups. That still made good money for the Newzbin1 guys. We never quite got the trust and lots of people said "Newzbin2 is an MPA trap", that stung us bad and we never got the userbase back. We don't have much more than about 40000 active users and the number of premium users is in the small thousands. It costs much more to run than we bring in, It just doesn't stack up.

To make things worse all our payment providers dropped out or started running scared. The MPA sued Paypal and are going at our innocent payment provider Kthxbai Ltd in the UK. Our other payment provider has understandably lost their nerve. Result? We have no more payment providers to offer & no realistic means of taking money (no, Bitcoin isn't credible as it's just too hard for 90% of people).

The tragedy is this: unlike Newzbin1 we are 100% DMCA compliant. We have acted on every DMCA notice we received without stalling or playing games: if there was a DMCA complaint the report was gone. Period. That was a condition of our advertising & payment partners so we complied but we never got a single complaint from the MPA. Not one.

Will we be back? not as a search service but we might run a blog from this site at some point.

Really shitty IMO to do it with zero notice when it was their choice to shut down.

Guess NZBMatrix and nzbs.in are the best options now for saved searches (my favourite thing about Newzbin).

Nzbs.in have now disabled registration/invites because their server was inundated with Matrix refugees so can't give out any invites for the time being.
