He had announced during Liverpool's unveiling of their new kits, that he would like to be the next England captain.

i think Gerrard makes a great Captain....it is a tough decision between Gerrard and Terry though.....
lolz...come to think of it, what happened to Owen being captain??? wasn't he the 2nd in command after Beckham???? or was that ages ago?
