How are the players supposed to play on this wet surface??? Where's the grass? I hope they have undersoil heating because this doesn't look like ideal playing conditions, no referee will allow games to be played on this the way it is. They should at least make it level and try and remove some of the water.

Yesterday, We started to build our new Ali Sami Yen stadium. It'll have 52.000 capacity and 13.000 parking lot. There is no confirmation about seats colour but it might be red with orange stairs. Also, two tribune will be named as "ultrAslan" and "Boys of Hell". Stadium will complete in 720 days.

718 days remained. :D

well usually just for the national team. but from time to time different teams here in Bucharest play on it. Steaua is the only team from Bucharest that can play on its on stadium in CL, so if the other two big teams from Bucharest get in CL they will either have to quickly modernise their stadium or play on the national one (because of the bureaucratize from here there are more chances that the second thing will happen :) )
also the Romanian League Cup Final is played on that turf.

here are the only pics I have from the building site:

There are some plans to build 2 new stadiums in Holland. A new Kuip for Feyenoord (attendance 70.000) and a new Arena for Ajax (80.000-90.000). Nothing official yet, but in this way our FA hopes to get the WC 2018 to Holland.

Rangers looking at three options of Stadium regeneration. The Main Stand at Ibrox is a listed building (a building of architectural importance which is illegal to destruct), therefore Rangers would have to play at Hampden Park for two seasons while building work went on.

One of the options is a £700m 70,000 seater stadium.
