New DLC 11/10/2011

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has revealed it will update many club rosters and a wealth of new elements to PES 2012 on October 11th.

KONAMI is to release a free downloadable update for the PlayStation 3(R), Xbox 360(R) and Window PC versions of the game, which will update the club team rosters in line with all current transfers. The publisher will also use the DLC to update the skill parameters of players, and to update the kits of several club teams. In total 160 clubs will be updated, with hundreds of players benefiting from more realistic stats and abilities that are tailored to their real-life playing style.

The DLC will also add 13 new styles of boots to the game, with new makes from adidas, Puma and Nike implemented, while the kit updates will see 29 teams brought in line with their current strips, including Real Madrid, Sporting Lisbon and Bayer 04 Leverkusen.

Now this isn't "News", but for the 360 users who've been plagued with the so called "Run Bug", Han and wabak found a work-around. Here's what they had to say regarding this:

I figured out where the sprint-bug comes from:
It has to do if your Xbox/TV is at 50 hertz rather than 60 hertz.
People I talked with and who got no sprint-bug, all got it on 60 hertz.
Others with 1080p and the sprint bug, got their Xbox/TV on 50 hertz. When they changed it, got no sprintbug anymore!

Conclusion: If you have a 1080p TV and the sprintbug. look if you can change it to 60 hertz and you will not have the sprintbug anymore

If you are unlucky to have only a 50 hertz setting and who cannot change it, will have to wait for a fix...

So Konami should now know that ONLY 1080p TV's on 60 hertz do NOT have the sprintbug, all others do have the sprintbug.

Seems to have sorted it for me on the demo! Brilliant.

Here's how to switch to 60hz if you use HDMI by the way...

For High definition TVs
To set your Xbox 360 console to PAL 60 Hz, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the Xbox 360 console.
2. Find the HDTV switch on the AV Connector, and then set the switch to TV.
3. Turn on the Xbox 360 console.
4. In the Xbox Dashboard, select System, and then press the A button.
5. Select Console Settings, and then press the A button.
6. Select Display, and then press the A button.
7. Select PAL settings, and then press the A button.
8. Select PAL-60, and then press the A button.
9. When you are prompted to keep these new settings, confirm the settings, and then press the A button.
10. Turn off the Xbox 360 console.
11. Set the HDTV switch on the AV Connector to HDTV.

All I done was, switch off 360, unplug HDMI, plug in component cable set to standard TV, changed it to PAL 60, switched off 360, and plugged in HDMI again and my TV was still set to PAL 60, just on HDMI.

Hope this works for everyone!
