The build is complete - here's what I built:


Case: Silver Thermaltake Kandalf Aluminium VD4000SWA with in-built Liquid Cooling System

PSU: Hiper 5th Gen 770W Type-R PSU - With 4x Integrated USB Ports, 4x PCI-E, 4x SATA

Processor: Watercooled Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 4x2.4@3.2=12.8GHz

RAM: 4GB Corsair Dominator XMS2 PC2-8500

HDD: 4x500GB Seagate Barracuda SATA Hard Drives (Bootable RAID0 making 1.8TBs), 2x500GB USB2 Black MyBooks

Keyboard & Mouse: Wireless HP keyboard & mouse

Monitor: HP 21" LCD widescreen 1680x1050

Speakers: Logitech 5.1 surround sound

OS: Windows XP Media Center

GFX Card: Watercooled Gainward GeForce 8800GTX 768mb

Mainboard: MSI P6N Diamond 680i chipset, 4xSLI

Sound: On-board Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Extreme

TV TunerAsus Dual DVB-T Tuner

if i told you the power supply alone was 110 quid and the bare case was 180, then that should give you a rough idea!
