Fantastic film.

Watched Creed - 8.5/10 : Really enjoyed it, a bit OTT with the actual in-ring stuff, but had a great time watching it, Stallone was excellent in it I thought.


The Martian - 8/10: Good movie, obviously a slow-paced film, but enjoyable and felt it had quite a bit of funny moments too, Damon was good.

im looking forward to that, bad guys always more intresting than good guys. thats why i loved Guardians aswell and looking forward to Deadpool too

actually it brought tears to my eyes. i think its the best movie in the Rocky universe. and it is the best performance from Stallone since Copland, he can do drama pretty effin good. he should throw away all the action stuff by now and use his acting skills instead. he deserved that Golden Globe totally
 
Yep, me too, to be honest Stallone made the movie better than it probably actually was, maybe notalgic I probably think the 1st is still my fav, I also did like the 2-4, however this was a different type of Stallone/Rocky we saw.

The last 2 efforts were poor I though.

Hateful 8 - 9/10

Thought it was brilliant, just not as good as Django, but a heck of a good watch.

I do love the way he does these kind of movies with the humour thrown in too, loved the characters, Russell was brilliant with that woman, lol.

The Big Short - 8/10

Based on a true story, no idea if they left stuff out blah, blah, blah.

I enjoyed it, very good film.
 
Yes liked creed, it had a more down to earth feel to it especially with the UK opponent. Look forward to the next one.

Room - 10/10

The child in this film is amazing.

Me and my Mrs liked Room too the kid in it was amazing..
It was a great story and very well paced.

Not 10/10 though but was a very good film.
 
Revenant - 8.5/10

Actually quite enjoyed it, but no way can Di Caprio get a Oscar for this, actually Hardy was better for me.

I did like it though how it played out.

Tbh, Di Caprio was more grunts for 3/4 of the movie, lol.

Spotlight - 7.5/10

It was good, not sure if these movies are my thing really, I don't have a much love for true story films tbh.

Mind you it's a whole lot better than the film for Keaton than that absolute garbage Birdman.

DEADPOOL 10/10

Perfect, that's how a Deadpool movie should be.
I laughed more than I did in any comedy movie ever.
the action is amazing.
 
Spectre: Wow, that was imho one of the most boring Bond movies I've ever watched. Story was lame, action scenes had no dynamic, no inspiration (except maybe for the fight in the train), felt like a waste of time to me. Casino Royale was imho way, way better.

I would have given it 5/10 but I liked the soundtrack and some action scenes.
Please, if there's a 5th movie, don't hire Sam Mendes.

Loved the original but seriously doubt I will watch the re-make.(Certainly not at the cinema anyway)

Looking at the track record of the director and cast.
Bridemaids - I turned this off after 20 minutes as it was just full of awkward extremely predictable toilet humour.
SPY - Got good reviews, but did anyone you know actually find this funny.
The Heat - Not seen this but never will either - scores OK on Rotten Tomatoes.

But don't have high hopes for the reboot at all.

I saw the film today, very funny film and a good job by all involved.

The end credits scenes weren't worth the wait though.
 
I really do want to see this movie, the wife I don't think will be her cup of tea, but just seems an awesome character and looks really funny.

Watched Black Mass - 7.5/10 - Did enjoy it, not a classic gangster movie, but good one.

Jupiter Ascending - 5/10 - Not the greatest, maybe some bonus marks for Mila Kunis who is quite hot, lol. And good Celtic fan Sean Bean, lol.

Deadpool is a real gem, love it, laughed my heart out, not a perfect movie, the story was a bit thin, but most of the jokes were written so well and the whole thing felt entertaining as hell, so 8.5/10 from me.
