I know I know, he won all this stuff because Barça is a superb team and Busquets is certanly the weakest link. Touré is a million times better.

I think Busquets is the weak chain of Spain (as it already is the weak spot of Barcelona). When facing big teams, that can mean going out of the tourney.

About the tactics... Torres won't play the first match. Spain plays way better when playing a 4-2-3-1 (copying the barcleona style completely, which is a nice and brave thing to do in a world cup).

Best set of players. Fantastic coach. Bookies' fav to win the World Cup and I can't disagree. 1/5 odds.

Its one of those things though isn't it? Nailed on to win it, how many times does the actual favourite win it?

letter

came time
it was time, to believe
now this game should be faithful
the weight of a reality
so that quality
can not be contained

it was time to bite
each ball, which falls between the feet
complete the degree of passion
teaching to the fans
everything you want to see

red stained the streets of the city
floating in the air in hopes of winning
and today, it seems useless to dream
that we can achieve

this red, divine !!!
at last, makes me believe
nothing can break this faith
tattooed on the skin

this red, divine !!!
puts the world at his feet
i keep dreaming
This time we touch

it was time to demand
As history, it left us feeling
Nothing can break me down
When I start to go crazy
when no longer fit into my

etc...

Sad to see. One team plays the right way if you like attacking football and lose to a goal on the break.

In the end not a great result for football unless you're a Swiss fan.

Pedro and Navas needed to be on sooner .Iniesta and Torres are not match fit or sharp.

Feel very sorry for the Spanish team and fans. And why not play Cesc alongside Xavi ? del Bosque got that one wrong.

I think too many people underestimate the 'middle' teams like USA, Switzerland etc....

I don't agree with this mentality. For me its a sign that 'big' teams will no longer simply dominate like in the past. This is one of the biggest sporting tournaments around... same as the CL. You do what's best to cancel out the other team and to win. I saw a compact Switzerland. Spain had a lot of possession but didn't cross the ball into the box every time they had the chance to, instead they would turn around and circulate.
