I know, I'm brazilian, I know how things are bad regarding licensing in Brazil. My point is that there are loads of players already in the game, why don't place them in their actual teams? Why do we have to wait for updates? This doesn't make sense at all!

Well, if it serves as some kind of "solace" (per say), I just saw a gameplay video (which show some some ridiculous reactions by both CPU defender, and CPU controlled attacker on the other team) in which Raktic is still in Barcelona...

I really don't get it, in just one day ONE person can do all the transfers isn't something hard to do.
The special editions are discounted for you because you own PES 2020. Basically, they want everyone to buy a special edition instead of the regular game.

This Season Update is very much like any well put together DT18 mod on the PC for 2020.
+ Game is more physical. Its easier to hold up the ball with the right player and easier to brush light players off the ball.
+ Tackling speed is reduced.
+ Start animation of the players are better hence you can burst and dribble faster and draw fouls.
+ There are "more" fouls called (its still a mess, sometimes i got a foul for a clear tackle too).
+ Cpu shots more often from long range.
+ First touches are heavier.
- Direct free kicks are OP
- CPU attacking pattern havent changed a bit. Its still the same old pass back run forward to receive the low/high through ball or pass it to the forward who turns and shoots. Stars like Messi or Ronaldo play like Smalling, very scared to dribble they right away pass the ball rather like a hot potato.
- You can still sit on the ball for 90 mins in your own half without the cpu approaching you.
- Goalkeepers are OP
And of course all the rest of negative aspects are there and untouched anything you can think of tactics wise, etc.
Too bad the CPU is a potato and they havent touched it at all. However i would say the game might can be a good on couch PVP experience for a year....just u know dont score from free kicks or lower all players fk rating to 40.

2K is now? Dude 2k was always the real deal, the professional casino based on addicted people.
It is an insult to place them in same tier with the footy coin-sellers.
EA and Konami are just a couple of "amateurs", basing their strategy on youngsters who may steal their mommy's credit card.
2k are the real pros/masterminds in this topic. Micro Trans for everything, shady loot boxes, and product placement between gameplay/cutscenes, at least for the last 10 years.

As the tweaks are minor, I make it short for tonight. it’s a polished 2020 early code for me. A slightly better vanilla or demo.
not really worth upgrading if you own the 2020 disc to be honest. Edit: Maybe for the updated roosters.
i like the few new animations and collisions of ball and player are a bit better. R2 finesse shot seems a bit tighter too. Bit more responsive.

Aye. Same as any other year. Not sure what it is about PES but it makes a PS4 go loopy. It honestly wrecks my head, I have to play with headphones on!
I'm not sensing (m)any changes from 2020 thus far, based on a flurry of friendlies. Going head first into a Master League. Might as well, it's the only mode I'll play.
Sprint speed, strength, defensive positioning - I'll see you on the other side.

I agree, but not with the "10 years" part... Maybe 5 years. From NBA 2k11 to 2k14, they were the absolute pinnacle of what sports games should be. Starting with 2k15, it went straight downhill to the absolute atrocity that it is today.

So San Siro wasn't included even though it's owned by the council and not AC or Inter? I'll be looking for squad updates for 2020 once the transfer window shuts.
The excessive PS4 fan noise started when they added that Enlighten lighting to the game. 2020' is easily the noisiest game I've ever played, worse than TLOU2, RDR2 or Horizon which is pretty crazy really.

Where is the Setting for Pes2021 .. I can't set resolution nor vsync full screen ? none as I can not find the setting screen
+1 some new animations make the job either (I've noticed a new corner kick animation (?) ), but it's definitely something we should get throughout PES 2020 updates period when KONAMI had plenty of time and tones of feedback regardings these points you have mentioned above and they should implement it way, way earlier either not waiting the whole year to make just a few improvements over the gameplay which we, users have been reporting about for the entire year. It is a polished PES 2020 but I would say it's not worth £20 at all. Especially if you play on PC where you could get a PES 2020 gameplay really successfully tweaked by the modders who also managed to make the game more responsive than it originally came in first place systematically working on crucial points of gameplay to make it more playable.
I think it won't take long to get sider and other mods compatible with 2021, so I'll stay with PES 2021 as I bought it already. But it also depends on DP 1.0, which may fuck the game up again and this is what we need to be prepared for, unfortunately.
If this is what KONAMI could make of the current generation - fine. I should be ok to play this game for another year, but if they will make 3 steps backwards again in 2022, I don't think that players will give them another chance again to keep polishing the same product for next 4,5 years implementing 2 minor changes each year.So now this could be the most important period for KONAMI while they work on PES 2022. This is their final exam next September (probably) so let's them work on something special and I hope that the time they've dedicated to work on new engine will fully pay off next year as well. I hope they've learnt a lesson and know now what's the players' expectation and needs are.
The worse thing is that there is no alternative for PES this year again. It was always there for years, years, but it's been demolished by microtransaction shit. I was pushing myself to start playing FIFA for 6,7 times for last 11 months but I can't stand it for longer than 10 minutes. But let's be more positive - PES 2021 seems to be even more enjoyable game and I reeeeaaallly hope KONAMI won't be that stupid to brush aside a mass of fans they have gathered for last 2 years showing them that they finally started heading a good way in recent years implementing the game that has very courageously been compared to PES 6 by some of us in previous threads.

Well I meant if you compare Konami with EA, even with Kojima at their side it's like comparing a small bakery budget with a multi billion dollar international franchise... EA has limitless funds whereas Konami doesn't. That's why EA can pretty much get any licenses they want if they set their mind to it.
The fact that Clubs and Associations are dumb also doesn't help because if they knew any better they would do what Porsche did back in 2016 when they dropped the exclusivity deals with EA and began having their brand exposed on pretty much every car game in the market which meant they are everywhere, whereas in the Football department being exclusive to one product or another means losing half the marketing real estate (regardless of the actual sales figures for both products - the games on this case)

I really admire spoony pizzas for his great tutorials, but he's much more of a big PES fan (in the best sense possible) than an unbiased reviewer... no offense to him, of course.
