Rainbow Six : Vegas 2

Re: Rainbow Six Vegas 2

Good news. I'd rather they picked a fresh location though, or just focus more on locations actually in Las Vegas and not Mexico or wherever.

Shame it's still based in Vegas though, I agree.

Re: Rainbow Six Vegas 2

i enjoyed the online a lot - but i hated that they ended the SP campaign with a obvious sequal - i just felt like an unfinished game

Re: Rainbow Six Vegas 2

This is the best news gaming news i have heard this year

Rainbow 6 Vegas has to be one of my all time favourite games

Re: Rainbow Six Vegas 2

I was awesome at it as i proved against you and other members from here :)

Re: Rainbow Six Vegas 2

why cant they announced games when they are only a week or 2 away from release

Re: Rainbow Six Vegas 2

Crap trailer, shows more of inside a vegas casino and people with poker chips than any gameplay footage. Pointless.

Re: Rainbow Six Vegas 2

lol. I saw that trailer on the VGAs and thought it was completely ridiculous? Video preview... of what? Vegas, people dressed up in swat gear and ummm.... what happens there?

Duuuuuude....

Re: Rainbow Six Vegas 2

Isnt that the same theatre as in the first game? Why cant they show any gameplay?? Also wished they based it somewhere else.

Tom Clancy's latest royalty cheque is due to start counting upward on 21st March, according to Ubisoft's latest release schedule.

That's when you, me and anyone else with a few quid to burn will be able to hurry down to the shops and pick up Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 on PC, PS3 or 360.

Vegas 2 promises more co-op, tactical and online options than the first game, along with a new campaign.

Ubisoft released shots and details at the end of December.

What's more, Eurogamer TV has a developer diary and one, two, three trailers to whet your appetite.

Or you could read our Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas review to see why you should be excited.

Re: Rainbow Six Vegas 2

And yet I'm still bored of playing games, even with the amount I have :(

I'm still getting R6V2 though, I'll trade in some games I think.

Re: Rainbow Six Vegas 2

Ubisoft's Rainbow Six series will be finished with Vegas as a location once the team completes work on Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2.

"We will never go back to Vegas - at least, not in the foreseeable future," designer Philippe Therien told Eurogamer at a recent preview event.

"We really feel that the story of Vegas is done. We've explored as much of Vegas as we wanted. For now, we're pretty much covered with Vegas."

Therien also admitted that he's not sure whether the game will continue to focus on a single place.

"The concept of being around one location was really good for Vegas, it really works," he said. "Whether we'll do that again, I don't know right now."

The new Vegas - due out on PC, PS3 and 360 on 21st March - introduces things like sprinting, bullet penetration and a new reward system to a formula that we already liked very much.

You can read much more about it - single-player and multiplayer - in today's extensive Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 multiformat preview.
