fifa models look like monkeys.....and pes6 for x360 models are weird too.

the ps3 version gotta be mutch better.
 
but if Konami mange to make some of the controls in the game with sixaxis they have to make an option to turn it off or on like the analog control coz many will not like or will not get used to it
 
can someone make sticky new topic abt new WE? like last year (and year before...), topic witch only official news, screens, etc.
 
i know this is stupid
there are some rumors that there wont be any we/pes for ps3 cause microsoft bought konami or somethin
so there is only we/pes for xbox360 and PC from now on..

sorry if my english is bad
 
Hi besides.

That is absolutely false, as far as general knowledge in this subject goes.

The closest that rumors have ever gone to that was when news came out that the only PES6 next-gen version that Konami would be making would be for the XBox360. Why is that, you ask? Because there was no install base for making it to any other next-gen platform at the time (and, unless I am completely forgotten, I believe that the PS3 wasn't even out when PES6 came out for the 360...?).

Nonetheless, those were the reasons for that. The thing from then on is purely semanthics: news sites started hyping all over "PES next-gen will be exclusive to Microsoft for one year" (which later on they corrected, and said they meant "PES next-gen will be exclusive to Microsoft in 2006"). This was not big news at all - just a simple fact that could be observed, and then hyped in news sites to create buzz about PES6 on XBox360.

About Microsoft buying Konami...? No way it will happen for now at least ;) They are much more interested in acquiring Yahoo for their online advertising, to compete with Google-ads... Remember that the Games division in Microsoft is not profitable for them yet.

Well, enough about this, back on topic then :) Great info you guys got here, I've been following this thread closely and will keep it up.

The only thing I can actually contribute to it is that there is one tiny detail that can help us have a bit of more hope in what concerns the need for a patch for the menus:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that there was one past release of Winning Eleven (excluding the "WE7 International" and all the other "Final Evolution"s) that had their menus already in English... Only the menus, though, nothing else - names and commentary in Japanese. I believe it was Winning Eleven 9 - the one with the Nippon Challenge... I can't confirm, though, and I'm not sure if it was only the main menu or the sub-menus too... I might be delusional, too :P

Hopefully we'll have more news about this in the near future - May 18th (wishful thinking? :) ).

Ok last week I got my Pioneer's BRD-101A as a test model ;-)
so i tried looking at PS3 isos straight away, if something is possible, it is a little different, and ofcourse the usual programms are not working straight away but, I think and foresee that in the near future we will surely get patches, but ofcourse the proffesionals here, need to have a good look.

I have a friend in Japan, so i asked to go around in shops for some news, but NOTHING! The only thing he learned is that next Winning Eleven should be released in august ... something we already know (or at least we hope it ^^). His wife sometimes works for Konami (she translates DS games from Japanese to french), but they didn't call her since March :(
And even if she asks, i doubt they'll give her any news, she told me that everything is kept secret! Just think that when an employee like her (not really part of Konami's teams) goes to the toilet, she has to be escorted by a member of security ... i know that's crazy, welcome in Japan ^^
 
Well maybe Konami decided to choose another translator because your friends' wife i going too frequently to the toilet...that would make sense...come to think of it, who knows what she did in the toilets with the security members...gotta excuse me...i'm going to the toilets (salivates heavily...)

I was just thinking the same thing, it's odd how such an intellectual member can be a joy to listen to one minute and then go out of his way to cause offence the next... It's as if he has split personalities... But then he does have two accounts so who knows...

Konami confirme already Winning Eleven and Pro Baseball Spirit on PS3 for 2007 ;) it's official
remember Konami speak officialy about Winning Eleven 10 only the 23 March for out 27 April ;)

according to that japanese forum, there will be info from Konami on the 18th....

to which Junka replied that on the 18th there would apparently be info only about MGS4. For you it's a win-win situation, though - either MGS4, or MGS4 and WE on the 18th :)

Playstation Gamer Day is next week in San Diego. Thats what the 18th might be referring to, and since its based in the US most probably the info will be about MGS4 (which looks like it might be the greatest game of all time, honestly)!!! But if they provide me with WE11 info on the 18th i will be over the moon.

ThomasGOAL, its seems like your Zidane Winning Eleven 11 cover is making its way around the world. a friend of mine in the USA just sent me the cover and said

"suff, look what i found!! it looks so good, i cant wait to have this game in my hands. i am sure i will buy my playstation 3 next month now."

i also found it on the Neoseeker forums the other day, some guy said that it was the official cover for the game. when i told him a friend of mine from EVO-WEB called ThomasGOAL made it they called me a LIAR. Hahahahaha, they think im lying!!!!! Can you guys believe this crap.

Well if its from a Japanese forum you would think the news would come from Japan rather than US? Whatever happens, I hope the 18th brings us some good news.
