eFootball PES 2020 Discussion Thread (PC)

PES 2020 gameplay is broken. I played more than 600 games vs AI (the Top Level difficulty) and surely, each next game looks more and more weird for me. But the most interesting thing I`ve ever noticed: if I`m playing in Russian Premier League vs someone like Orenburg, Ural or even Lokomotiv - I`m struggling or suffering. Sure, it looks like I`m playing vs top-level teams, but in a Champions League, against Barca, Chelsea, Inter, Juve, Liverpool - I`m the way better them. Today I was playing vs Lokomotiv, conceded goal at 2-nd minute and...was waiting the final whistle. I felt the border. Anything I do - they will beat it easily. Passing, shooting, rebounds... Passing, shooting, rebounds...

3 words. I give up.

The whole day i'm trying to play this game and couldn't even finish a 5 minutes match, always restart the match with different teams but achive nothing. All cpu can do just move two steps forward - pass... turn back and pass.. give the ball to gk - long pass... it's like they spend a whole 80 minutes just in their area. Probably the longest distance cpu can dribble is 3 meters and it's only a fullback can do that. You'll be lucky to see when cpu can dribble more than 5 meters away when there's no team mates around them.

Also since konami introduce some "new" defending moves, the cpu turned into a monster, they will stop every shot, every move, every pass.

Not to mention the broken referee. Ref never do a favor for players. When cpu do a hard tackle, no foul but when the player do, it's yellow.

I need a rest from this game for a while.

Folks, thinking of purchasing PC for full PES customisation experience; it's been a while since I use kitServer, so been longing for it and all other customisation.

Is the combination of Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB + AMD Ryzen 7 3700X an overkill?
Would Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB + AMD Ryzen 5 3600 suffice?

Hoping to be able to play at least another 3 - 4 instalments at optimum performance, starting from PES 2021.

The RX 5700 XT 8GB + AMD Ryzen 5 3600 would be a great combo and should last you a while.

Agree, BUT about GPU, after about two weeks, when Nvidia will announce the next-gen GPU's. I think is better to wait for that. The cost of current cards must go down then.
If you will make PC now, better to be able to play the next generation of games coming out at the end of the year. RX 5000 series does not support RTX - Ray Tracing and all-new cool technology. RX 5000 series will be outdated fast. If he wants GPU now, better buy RTX 2070 Super, its cost just a bit more than RX 5700 XT, its way better card and will also be relevant for the next generation.

Any of you folks running PES on PC and 1080p TV (not 4K) via HDMI? Will those setups an overkill if the TV is just the normal Samsung 1080p LED TV?

HDMI is fine. I play my PES on 1080p LG plasma TV!
I will never change it for 4k LED because the quality of the picture quality and response time on plasmas is amazing, maybe for some OLED with a high refresh rate in the future but .. .for now its best for me.
 
Out of curiosity, can we still do FIFA commentary in PES? I know that we used to be able to do it and it was great but it's been a long time ago now.

8 of them agains cheaters.
one could not imagine the rage level I'm tring so hard to contain.

He usually tinkers with the game and sends it to the the devs as suggestions. The one above ie according to him is too cpu demanding and a PS4 couldnt handle players on the bench with FOX engine.

From my quick research, it's all leading to RX 5700 XT winning in cost/performance and many games don't seem to support Nvidia DLSS 2.0.

I'm still on my research stage and will probably pull the trigger closer to PES 2021 launch; I have now got slightly more budget after swapping Ryzen 7 3700X with Ryzen 5 3600 and most people say if I'm to build a gaming PC, to spend most of the $ on the Video Card and not the CPU.
 
What is the difference between Man Marking and Track Back? Both abilities seem similar in their description.

I am trying to decide which ability is best for a The Destroyer Central Midfielder like Zobnin.

Pretty much sums up how "glorious" PES 2020 AI.


I let off my gamepad from my hand and yet they still don't want to dribble. But once i put my gamepad back and try to give them pressure, 100% guaranteed they will turn around and doing a back-pass.

Superstar level, more like superjunk :SHOCK:

And again RTX 2070 super have RayTracing and DLSS . After 2 weeks NVIDIA will announces RTX 3000 series so 2000 prices must drops.

RTX 2070 Super vs RX 5700 XT is actually not a good comparison. The Nvidia equivalent of the RX 5700 XT is the RTX 2060 Super.

RX 5700 XT is certainly cheaper right now, but it's also louder, has a higher power consumption, runs hotter and comes without Raytracing. If he doesn't need 8GB VRAM, @PotatoCouch could also think about a normal RTX 2060.

Agree, but RTX 2060 S have problems with some RayTracing games, that why for me target will be 2070 or new generation 3060 or 3070.
